This home started out as a small one-story bungalow on a road facing a large public and natural space, but still close to shops and restaurants in town.  The family had grown to include three young boys and they desperately needed more room but loved the location of their home. The house was converted to include a second floor to allow for four bedrooms and baths. The expanded living level features a comfortable open plan for family room, kitchen and dining. The dramatic skylit stairs have large windows to the landscaped back yard.
